Internmatch Summer 2020

This summer, the Center has had the honor of working with an amazing team of inspiring faculty mentors, innovative founders and talented students through Internmatch, a program for currently enrolled Central Valley California Community College students and California-based start-ups. We celebrate these students as they culminate this cohort and showcase all the learning and growth that has happened in just the past few months.

We thank the companies, mentors and supporters who helped this cohort of 11 students reach valuable insights that are hard to grasp inside the walls of a traditional classroom. This is where the magic happens – at the intersection of education and entrepreneurship – unlocking unique value for students and the entrepreneurial community.

The learnings, insights, and discovery gained these past couple months will continue to help the students advance personally and professionally in the most obvious and non-obvious ways.

Our mission at the Center is to democratize entrepreneurship for underserved talent – and we believe students are a powerful resource in accomplishing this goal. We’re focused on understanding the barriers to entrepreneurship and developing promising solutions as it relates to the entrepreneurial mindset, network & connections, and access to capital to accelerate the entrepreneurial capabilities for the benefit of our lives, communities and world. This is a journey that we’re not on alone, and we’re so deeply grateful to our partners who help make the work of our non-profit possible.
