As founders and small business owners face a new world of selling, pitching and presenting virtually, they need to be ready with unstoppable confidence. Casey Carpenter of Global Public Speaking works with leaders at the intersection of public speaking, leadership, and sales, to craft messages that truly land, and to coach them on their presence.

This training will build confidence in entrepreneurs by giving them immediately applicable strategies for high-impact virtual communications. They will have tools to build trust and strengthen relationships with future customers, current clients, funders, and collaborators as they work to launch and grow their business.

Casey Carpenter

Casey Carpenter works with Global Public Speaking, a communication training firm that helps people speak with confidence and authenticity in their meetings, pitches, and presentations – in person and virtually. She is a sales & leadership coach with over 25 years as a sales professional, sales trainer, senior sales leader, and executive coach for several Fortune 100 companies.

Her business, Speak & Own It Communications, empower leaders to reignite and turn around underperforming sales teams. Sales professionals get on track and blow out their numbers. Individuals benefit from her coaching, which encourages them to be authentic, have fun, and lower buyer resistance with non-salesy language.

Casey has led sales and leadership-boosting workshops for the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corporation, Women in Health Management, and the Association of Image Consultants International. As a sales and pitch coach for Rising Tide Capital, she judges pitches and helps founders refine their messaging and sell their products. An accomplished speaker, Casey is a national board member of the National Speakers Association. She recently became a C Suite Advisor, an invitation-only thought leadership platform for leading business coaches and has spoken at numerous prestigious events such as the Blacks In Government’s National Training event and more.

Casey serves on the Dress for Success North Jersey Steering Committee, the Morris County Chamber Women In Business Committee, and is the Public Relations Chair and docent for the Montclair Art Museum African American Cultural Committee. She’s earned a BA from Tufts University, a certificate in coach training from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), DISC Certification, and a Training Generalist Certification from Langevin Learning Services. In her spare time, Casey practices Tai Chi, lifts weights, creates felted scarves and gemstone jewelry, and cuts a mean rug on the dance floor.
