Today, the construction industry faces some of its greatest challenges yet—from cost overruns and stagnant productivity to environmental waste and the ongoing housing crisis.

Rising construction costs due to a combination of restrictive building regulations and a shortage of skilled labor is also choking the development pipeline and sending housing prices into the stratosphere.

In order for this industry to thrive again, it needs to innovate.

Steve Glenn, CEO of Plant Prefab, is among a handful of visionary leaders who’s disrupting the housing industry—leveraging modular construction methods to deliver higher quality, more sustainable housing at a rate that’s 50 percent faster and 20 percent less expensive.

Plant Prefab is the first home factory in the nation dedicated to sustainable construction, materials, processes, and operations. Steve’s vision for the future of housing is to make the construction industry more productive and less expensive while building homes that minimize their negative impact on energy, water and natural resources.

We hope you’ll join us for an engaging discussion led by Steve Glenn of Plant Prefab as we explore:

  • The current state of homebuilding
  • Why modular construction and urban infill will be key players in the Bay Area’s housing future
  • How to pursue a half trillion dollar market that’s been slow to embrace change
  • How to build a business that brings together profit and purpose
