Tom McLeod, Founder and CEO of Omni 

Tom McLeod is Founder and CEO of Omni, the on-demand personal storage concierge based in San Francisco. With over 10 year’s experience growing innovative companies, he previously co-founded Pagelime, a SaaS CMS used by over 30,000 designers worldwide, and the mobile app lab Imaginary Feet, launching and marketing 15+ apps to over 10 million users. With a degree in audio engineering from American University, Tom’s first venture was the “successful-til-it-wasn’t” recording studio Heavy Syndication, which quickly transitioned to become a web design firm with the changing music industry. Having recorded over 500 songs, he still consults on the occasional music project.

Robert Rosenblum, Partner, WSGR

Robert Rosenblum is a corporate and securities partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Rob is the head of the firm’s blockchain and cryptocurrency practice, the firm’s fund formation practice, and the firm’s fintech practice. Rob focuses on the representation of companies in sophisticated regulatory, transactional, and product development projects, advising them on federal securities laws and related financial services laws and regulations. He is well known nationally for helping companies structure their businesses and operations to avoid inadvertently becoming investment companies, as well as to avoid registering as investment advisers, broker-dealers, commodity trading advisers, or commodity pool operators. Rob also assists early-stage and other companies whose businesses require them to register in one or more of these capacities.

Erica Bonner, Tax Partner, KPMG 

Erika is a tax partner in KPMG’s Federal Tax practice with more than 14 years of experience in providing multinational corporate taxation and ASC 740 services to both public and private companies, with an emphasis on financial institutions. Erika is responsible for a broad range of U.S. multi-national and local clients and has extensive experience with a wide range of complex tax matters relating to her clients’ businesses. Her current and past clients operate in many different industries with particular focus on financial services.

Adam Sterling, Executive Director, Berkeley Center for Law

Adam Sterling is the executive director of the Berkeley Center for Law and Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously he was a startup attorney at Gunderson Dettmer and the co-founder and director of the Sudan Divestment Task Force and Conflict Risk Network (CRN). Adam currently serves as a non-resident senior fellow for the Enough Project. In 2007, Adam was one of six featured subjects in the documentary, Darfur Now, produced by Academy Award nominee Don Cheadle. Adam’s writings and work have appeared extensively in the press; including contributions to The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Christian Science Monitor, and National Public Radio. He has appeared on a number of broadcast news programs, including CNN’s Situation Room and CNBC’s Street Signs.
