Terry Hill

Partner, Advisory

Terry is a Partner in BPM’s Advisory Practice and is responsible for leading the Firm’s CFO Services group, which supports middle-market companies through key points of inflection: rapid growth, capital raise, M&A and turnaround/bankruptcy. Directly prior to BPM, Terry was Northern California Office Managing Partner for Tatum, a national, professional services firm, where he had responsibilities for a similar practice of interim CFOs and Controllers. With over 20 years of experience as an owner/operator and consultant, Terry has parlayed his entrepreneurial background into practice leadership, practice management and new revenue generation responsibilities.

Prior to BPM and Tatum, Terry ran the Bay Area Private Equity practice for ADP’s middle market business unit, Major Accounts. He and his team delivered a value creation model to Private Equity, Venture Capital and Hedge funds through their portfolios. By leveraging Human Resources BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), the practice helped drive fund performance, shorten TSA periods and bring speed to post-close integration—resulting in half to a full point of EBITDA performance, across the portfolio. Prior to being a consultant, Terry was an entrepreneur. As the operating General Manager of a lower middle-market consulting firm, Terry achieved 5x EBITDA growth in four years, driving utilization rates from less than 50% to roughly 90%.

Terry’s M&A experience includes buy-side and sell-side transactions totaling $6B+ of enterprise value in the consumer, healthcare and technology sectors.
